Now I know one of the Hillary socks may tell us that the Clintons killed hundreds, if not thousands of their associates for political gain, but exposing an uncover op is nevertheless sickening. We'll have to ask King Karl why he hates America and/or Baby Jebus.

Rove the leak?

If he broke he law then the consequences should be brought to bare. I couldn't care less about Karl Rove, although I do applaud his calling out of the liberals.

I hope that after he is prosecuted, as necessary, the law turns its long arm towards bringing to justice those responsible for the deaths of the many ex-FoB, including but not limited to Vince Foster (RIP). Wherever that investigation may lead.

Spanky put down the bong. Patty Murray? Patty "Osama" Murray, who said about her idol, Osama bin Laden:

"He’s been out in these countries for decades, building schools, building roads, building infrastructure, building day care facilities, building health care facilities, and the people are extremely grateful. He’s made their lives better."

Yes, we should go ask the mothers, fathers, widows, widowers, and children of the 3000 people he murdered on 9-11 how much better their lives are today.

Patty Murray is the least intelligent person in the Senate. In 1998 she placed #4 on investigative reporter and liberal Ken Silverstein's (who is the co- editor, along with Alexander Cockburn, of CounterPunch, i.e very liberal) annual list of the 10 stupidest members of Congress as published in the liberal rag the Progressive.

As Silverstein notes (I can't link the article, but if you want proof I am not making it up do a google search for "dim and dimmer" and "patty murray"-you can get the article on the Progressive's site cached), the competition is stiff and he sets out as follows:

Staffers report that Murray frequently seems confused about the finer details of procedure and debate, a fact reflected in her complete lack of accomplishments since winning office in 1994...Murray often talks about how her experience as a preschool teacher left her with an abundance of compassion for children. Such compassion was hard to spot during an interview she gave to Gannett News Service, in which she described a three-year-old boy in one of her classes as `the epitome of every teacher's nightmare, the kind of kid you want to nail to the wall.

Murray calls herself an environmentalist, but her gooey sentiments on the subject could drive Mother Nature over to the Wise Use camp. She once said she wanted to be the voice of the salmon in Congress because fish "don't talk."

Murray at least appears to recognize her own limitations. As she once told a group of schoolgirls, "If I can do this job, anybody can."

Obviously "simpleton" is a gross exaggeration, though I'm sort of a fan of trying to keep things simple myself, so something closer to "simpleton" than "complex person" (i.e., "confused and indecisive person") is probably along the lines of my tastes in people. That latitude 46 Cuvee in my post could hold up to bbq.

Going a lighter, fruitier way, but staying with that same vinyard, latittude 46 (which was new to me but my fave local wine store just turned me onto), I went with a gewurtztraminer tonight.

Two thumbs up!

Latitude 46º N Gewurztraminer, Celilo Vineyard 2004
There was a day when the future looked bright for gewürztraminer; one made by Associated Vintners helped put them on the map. It was thought to be one of Washington’s grapes. Then the market changed and vineyards were ripped up or were grown with volume as a goal as opposed to quality. But this fruit has been in the ground at Celilo since the late 1970’s just waiting for someone to pay it proper attention. Now someone has, because this is the best Washington gewürztraminer I have tasted in a long time and one of the most distinctive Washington whites I have seen in a while. It shows tons of fruit balanced by lively acidity and just a hint of sweetness. I know that many of you probably haven’t had a gewürztraminer in a long time but this is one you should try.

I was prepared to put a moratorium on any Hillary comments until she next interjects herself into an issue of national import and thereby attempts to use her influence to affect national policy against my interests, but, in an ironic coincidental twist I have come across some extremely discomforting facts today.

Every year, for the 4th, in honour of the great diversity of our nation I travel to a city where I have never been to partake in the natives' commemoration of our nation's greatest holiday (after Columbus Day). This year Pittsburgh, where I opened my hotel's free copy of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review this morning to find that there is trouble brewing. While we may driven the foul Brits out some 200 plus years ago,However, in 2005, rumors that the Brits have returned and may become involved in the next race for the White House -- in a sweetheart deal with the junior senator from New York -- already have reached the media.

Even more troubling, apparently Hillary has already locked up a major endorsement endorsement for her 2008 race.

time was when Billy, the oldest brother on the Kristie McNichol's vehicle Family was the deadliest lover for a women. No fewer than 6 of his girlfriends died of cancer over the several year run of the show.

But consider this:
  • In July 1997, during the pre-trial publicity surrounding the Paula Jones lawsuit, and mere days after Newsweek's Mike Isikoff had dropped hints that a "former White House staffer" was about to go public with her story of sexual harassement at 1600 Pennsylvania, gunmen entered the Starbuck's Coffee shop in Georgetown while the crew was cleaning up. Mary Mahoney, a 25 year old former White House Intern for Bill Clinton, was working as the Assistant Manager. Mary's two associates, Aaron Goodrich, 18 and Emory Evans, 25, were taken to a room and shot. Mary herself had five bullets in her, from at least two different guns, most likely with silencers. A total of ten shots were fired; none of them heard by neighbors in the densely populated Georgetown section. Mary was shot in the chest, her face, and in the back of the head. No money was taken.

Suzanne Coleman had an affair with Bill Clinton when he was Attorney General in Arkansas. On 15 February 1977, she "committed suicide" with a gunshot to the back of the head. No autopsy was performed, but it has been alleged that she was seven-and-a-half months pregnant with Clinton's child, although never proven.

Judy Gibbs, who appeared in the December 1979 issue of Penthouse, and her sister Sharon were part of a house of prostitution in Fordyce, Arkansas that also engaged in blackmail of it's more powerful clients. Linked to Bill Clinton by both her own family and by one of Bill's bodyguards, Judy had just decided to cooperate with police in an investigation of Arkansas cocaine trafficking when she burned to death inside her home from a fire of undetermined origin.

Gary Johnson, an attorney who lived next door to Gennifer Flowers, was beaten severely and left for dead by two thugs who broke into his apartment. It seems he had videotaped some of Clinton's "visits" and had mentioned the existence of the tapes to other people. The intruders made sure THEY TOOK THE "CLINTON-FLOWERS" TAPES after they finished the beating.

Kathy Ferguson, the ex-wife of Arkansas State Trooper Danny Ferguson, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head, in Sherwood, AR. On May 11, 1993, the right-handed Ferguson supposedly shot herself behind the left ear. It was labeled a suicide even though much of the forensic evidence does not support this finding. She died five days after her ex-husband, was named a co-conspirator in the Paula Jones case. Kathy had told friends that Clinton had sexually harassed her in a manner similar to that reported by Paula Jones. She purportedly had knowledge of Clinton's "regulars" and often talked about how Clinton had gotten Danny to bring women to him and stand watch while they had sex. Part of Danny's job was to make sure that each woman was ready and willing when she and Clinton got together. Kathy said she heard that Clinton was really mad when Paula Jones wouldn't "put out".

Having sex- even when it's rape- with a "bill" seems like a dicey proposition.
