I think so, but I think it's not related to hormones. What is related to hormones is your first impression re: attractiveness. If you meet someone for the first time while ovulating, you'll think they're more attractive than if you had met them at another stage in your cycle. What's more, attractiveness level is set at that first meeting, so they'll always seem more (or less) attractive to you thenceforth.

I guess the upshot is that if you're courting someone on the internets and you really like them so far and want them to seem extra-attractive when you see them, try to schedule that first picture exchange or in-person meeting for when you're ovulating. Just be extra careful with the BC if it's in person.
