Where do you see them? Those also describe a fresh shock treatment.

Heard bout this thing from a good friend of mine,
he was always happy, smile on his face,
said he had a great time at the place!

Pulling out and coming on ABBA's hair in the parking lot.

Does girl-on-girl give you the same smile or a different one?

Different. Since there's the added thrill of knowing that my husband doesn't know...

But he knows about you and the pool boy? If the pool boy arrives early, does your hubby watch?

No, he doesn't know about the pool boy. But he assumes that I like boys. He does not assume that I like girls.

Uh, spoilers for Degrassi Jr. High

So apparently on Degrassi this year there was a teen pregnancy/abortion plotline that was aired in Canada in January. The N Channel (?) airs Degrassi here in the US, and has opted not to show the episodes that touched on the plotline.

The problem: The character goes through the abortion and doesn't think it was a bad idea.

Why is it so taboo in this country for a character to have an abortion on a TV show or movie? I can't think of a single "oops" pregnancy on TV that ended in abortion. Usually the mother miscarries before she can get to the clinic if she was contemplating abortion at all.

Related New York Times story and Toronto Star story.

Claire's abortion during Season 3 of Six Feet Under was handled with so little fuss that it was a refreshing plot twist, rather than a major issue.

episode recap here

You are thinking of Degrassi: The Next Generation. In Degrassi High, there was the whole Heather/Erica abortion fiasco where Heather was against Erica's abortion but she went ahead and did it anyway. (after much tears). And Spike's friend (forget her name - Lisa? maybe) called her a baby-killer.
I wonder if that episode was ever shown in the U.S..

Is it taboo, or is it simply a preference to avoid controversy?
