I'm 5'9''. When I was 16 I weighed between 100-105. I was training so much (cycling) that the weight just didn't stay on. I biked around Europe that summer (often doing more than 100 km a day), and was very healthy. I don't know how old Daniela is, but she looks like I did then. I don't think she's sick.

edited to add that everyone thought I was anorexic and people would follow me to the bathroom because they thought I must be puking it up. Pain in the ass.

I'm not sure I agree.

I was not "healthy" (did not menstruate for six years, after doing so for two) but had enviable stamina. I ran at least 8 miles every day, plus an hour of stairmaster (this was a "normal day"), and on "training days" (three days per week) would run 15-20 miles. Year round. I do not believe that I was all that unique.
Well, to be honest, it just sounds like you were a very dedicated runner. None of what you say points to an eating disorder. I've put up some 70+ mile weeks for marathons (sub 3), and I know people (very fast people) who occasionally run 140 per week. The latter are semi-elite (sub 2:40), but still are very healthy. Did you still eat normally (i.e., normal for a marathon runner)? As far as the menstruation goes, that's a side effect that occurs in almost all serious female endurance athletes.

You sound like you are naturally slender in form, and maybe Daniela is also. I think most, but not all, people who look like Daniela either overexercise, undereat, or both.

I went back to edit my response once I realized I didn't mention the eating thing. No, I did not eat normally. Limited (very consciously) to 1,000-1,500 per day. Once I started drinking, food consumption was curbed to make room for the alcohol. But at under 100 pounds it didn't take much.

Ok, now I understand. You're correct. You weren't eating nearly enough. Considering your mileage, you should have been well over 2500 (and probably over 3000) calories per day

Want to eat "normally"? You could eat one of these every two and a half days.

I picture E/O as very petite since she said what her waist size is once and I cant imagine a tall girl with such a small waist who isnt a model. I cant decide if she looks like a yenta or an Irish gal.

I cant reconcile PJ being petite since she said she is a DD natural. I gotta say, I assumed you were big.

I picture leagl as short (like five two?) bc I think she has said as such.

I picture TM as looking like Emmanuelle Lewis.
Oh boy. PJ is DD and 5'2? Sounds like I have a new entry on my laminated list.

Who should pay on a date?

(Personally, I think taking turns works, failing that if it is a first date, the person who asked.)

Call me crazy, but that sounds like anorexia to me. Maybe I don't have a good understanding of the disease, but it seems to me that you were not eating like any marathoners I know. Putting aside the lack of menstruation (which is indeed normal for most female athletes), I don't understand how a person could train at such a high level, eat so little, and not consider that an eating disorder. Moreover, I have an even harder time understanding how the body can perform at that level with so little food for such a prolongued period of time.

A word of advice from the experienced...if the person you are dating NEVER has any money, is waiting for next payday, invites you to a really nice restaurant and has NO SHAME in telling you he doesn't have enough money - dump him like a load of bricks. Why do people think you're made of money just because you drive a nice car? I guess it's the same reason I thought one of these guys was a total loser for driving a beat-up 60's vintage bug. Turns out - 2 separate guys thought I was "money" because I had a nice car. So expected the gigolo treatment. They were sad to learn that I wasn't and that all the money was tied up in the car/insurance/maintenance. Just a hint for you potential gigolos out there.
