No. Gere's was a gerbil (duct taped I believe). Stewart had gallons of splooge.

And until now I thought that I was the only one on the planet who used the term "pooper" in this manner. You are my new bestest friend. :dance2:

This is a great lunch-time discussion.

Frankly, I never bought this urban legend to begin with. How many gay men do you know who lust after Rod Stewart?

The following people have had this legend attributed to them: Rod Stewart, Elton John, David Bowie, Marc Almond, Mick Jagger, Andy Warhol, Jeff Beck, Jon Bon Jovi, the drummer for Bon Jovi, the lead singer for New Kids on the Block, the Bay City Rollers (what, all of them?), Alanis Morrissette, Li'l Kim, Foxy Brown, Britney Spears, and Fiona Apple.

We talked about the word a couple of weeks ago; others used it this way (Atticus, I think?) and I said I hadn't heard it used that way until I saw Rodger Dodger. What were you sleeping, or working or something when all this went on? Were you not hanging on my every word? Wasn't I once your new best friend? Am I just being cast aside now?

I won't be ignored.*

*Fatal Attraction was on last week.

You read the FB during lunch, you assume the risk.

This is a much more pleasant topic than the contents of Richard Gere's rear end. Can we stick with this, or perhaps muse upon the glory days of the Jackson 5, for a while instead?

Make new friends but keep the old, one is silver and the other is gold.

Note -- I was never a Girl Scout but I remember somebody telling me that this is like a motto of theirs or something.

How could someone ever slander JBJ?

I will only admit to being the creative force behind several hundred socks-the rest is left to your conjecture. You want the truth? YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!!

I recently got VH+1 Classic and have gotten hooked on a video show --- they actually show videos --- called something like We Are the 80s. In the past two days, I've seen the videos for "Cool It Now," "Strip," "Funkytown (Pseudo Echo cover)"; "You Got It All"; "Jeopardy"; "I Feel for You"; "Let the Music Play"; "Relax" AND MANY MORE! You should get digital cable or satellite to get this, because it's TITS!

Two observations, though: the members of New Edition were caught in a very awkward phase indeed. And "Jeopardy" has to be the most hilarious, terrible, low-budget video ever made. Greg Kihn getting dragged out of a church by a papier mâché tentacle is one thing, but doing it while he's getting chased by zombies wearing tuxes and Van's sneakers is just too much.
