I got a 100. I am officially a fucking loser. I didn't even listen to the radio much in the 80s which means I am a double loser for picking this shit up as an adult.

Disagree re: Puffy. He sends them on a meaningless errand for cheesecake? And then he's not even there when they get back? I would've shoved the cheesecake up his P Diddy.

OTOH, the errand seemed remarkably like my current job . . .

Yes, but miniskirts and primary-colored tights are also in again, which is 80s, so some fuckhead designers clearly just can't count.

So is Jeff hot again? He was looking distinctly "the Colbys got canceled so I've been slumping on the couch accumulating a major beer gut" there for a decade at least, but if he's back to being laminated-list-worthy, let's see a pic!
Well, I wouldn't call him hot, but at least he's trying now. Living on a horse ranch for 10 years did nothing for his figure, and without a hairstylist/dermatologist, he couldn't cope. But now that someone is doing his hair, making him shave and he probably has a personal trainer, I think he's making a comeback. Don't laminate him yet. If I had the technical skillz to post a pic, I would, but in the meantime, here's his publicity photo - they've left the gray for that "distinguished doctor" look.

You mean, like the Grateful Dead and Touch of Grey? Maybe I should go cast a write-in vote.

I disagree with your definition. A band with one big hit and a number of albums and/or decent songs is not a one-hit wonder.
Oh right, I am being too literal. One hit doesnt really mean one hit. What do "decent songs" have to do with the notion of a hit anyway?

The grateful dead also had Hell in a Bucket so they are not technically a one hit wonder.

I think I am going to write in that woman who sings one of the worst songs ever. A song so bad that I first heard it on Bally comercials and thought it was a jingle until I heard it on a commercial for a car. "Lets Get This Party Started". That person could not possibly have a second hit.

I got a 92 and am frustrated by not knowing which 2 I missed.

I know this stuff because I listened to Casey Kasem's Top 100 countdown every Sunday morning while stuffing the supplements into the Sunday papers before delivering them on my bike, no matter what the weather.

I was the only kid in my kindergarten class with a paper route.

Are you serious? You may not like her music, but lots of people do. I would say she's had at least five solid hits, and more if you count her older stuff. Didn't she even do a duet with Steven Tyler and sing the theme for Charlie's Angel's II?

I heart Alicia.

Legal (for now) Hallucinogen

Information like this is only going to increase demand:

Teens, and now DEA, are on trail of hallucinogenic herb
Donna Leinwand USA TODAY

WASHINGTON -- Federal drug agents are so concerned about the growing use of a little-known and accessible herb with hallucinogenic qualities that they are taking steps to treat it like cocaine, heroin and LSD, and make it illegal.

The herb is salvia divinorum, a type of sage native to the Sierra Madre Oriental mountain range in Mexico and used by natural healers there. It can alter perception and induce visions when smoked or chewed.

Salvia emerged in the USA about three years ago. Word spread on the Internet. And now, teenagers and young adults in search of mind-bending experiences are trying it.

Its price ranges from $8.95 to $120 an ounce depending on potency. It is sold in ''head shops,'' on the Internet and, in one St. Louis suburb, a record shop at a mall.

In St. Peters, Mo., young teens were smoking salvia that they bought at the mall until January, when the Board of Aldermen banned its sale to those younger than 18.

Oh, man! :( Maybe the personal trainer will fix things. And he commutes into the city from the country? Damn, that's just like all my Dad's friends--I can't laminate him again now!

Hey, what about Uncle John's Band? Casey Jones? Friend of the Devil? Truckin? They all made the Top-40 lists, I think.

Alicia Moore = Pink

I don't know the commercials you are talking about, but I'm pretty sure we are talking about the same song.
