speaking of getting down on your knees, how did you handle the check for drinks with your ex?

I think you would have made the list anyway without this flagrant suck up. but one can never be too careful, I guess.

* I hate this word.
I hate, hate, hate (with the white-hot fury of a thousand suns -- that doesn't sound very poetic, does it?) when people use that as a verb. Such "banker-speak" inexplicably enrages me. Don't ask me why.

In happier news, I just signed up for TRAPEZE CLASS!!! A friend of mine (OK, it was my trainer -- which I would not have confessed were it not somewhat pertinent as you will see below) said his girlfriend went, and was completely addicted. I can't wait. He thought I would be good at it as I like "sports activities" as opposed to just exercise (like running on a treadmill or aerobics class). Apparently, being flexible helps too, which I am.

I'm so excited!!!

No, actually, I can't tell the difference between "whose" and "who's," I don't know who MR is and I can't understand the concept that he's an "administrator" of this "message board" on the "internet" and I've never seen the Fight Club human-fat based* soap that's on all the movie posters and the DVD cover.

*Hi, dtb! Your so sexy! P.S. How come we've never had the that/which descriptive/restrictive conversation here? There is rampant abuse!

You hate it because it's not a word. It's one of those made-up peice of shit language shortcuts favored by HR types and other lower life forms who have neither the intelligence nor the patience to actually use the English language.

Stop this one before it grows, like not me.

so tell me again why it was funny to intentionally misuse "whose" if you knew better. and why I should have known that your were? cause from where I sit this seems a little post hoc on your part. but whatever. not that I care that much.

For Me, All Is Lawful

From my yahoo inbox. It's sad to see the once-proud purveyors of these kind of scams just phoning it in like this:

"I suggest you to become my partner. 2 ways to earn:
1st way is I transfer money into your account, and then you send it back to me through WU making 15-30%. 2nd way is that I take money from your account and claim it stolen and bank repays the amount, I send 50%-60% back to you. This can only work
once though. Or you may to find people for 1st and 2nd ways.
In any case you become a victim of fraud. For you all is lawful."

There is a return e-mail address. Has anyone ever reported one of these clowns to Da Man? I am tempted to fuck this guy just because his come-on is so shitty.

Speaking of which, does anyone other than HR types use the phrase "govern your records"? I can't stand that shit.

Cf. "grow the economy," which fortunately seems to be a meme in recession now that Bush has been working his magic on the economy [oops -- to the PB with that one].
