Those puppies don't bounce though, and I look almost flat. It's weird. I was told by the saleslady at Lucy that it's Oprah's favorite bra.

I don't know if that's better or worse.

I don't generally hate underwire. I sort of accept underwire as a part of my life. I do hate it though when it pops and stabs me in the sternum.

This thread is making my tits hurt.

But my cynic soon returns
And the lifeboat burns.

I do the compression thing for working out, but the underwire thing for daily wear.

Now that we are talking about it, I am hyper-aware of the underwires and feel trapped.

ETA do you like Lucy in general? There's one at the mall by work (as opposed to the mall by home).

I suppose that's less painful than taping them. Or at least less painful to remove.

No. And I don't think I have ever been told that I have nice hair. It's just kind of there. I do get told frequently that I have a cute haircut, but that is not the same thing. My hair is way too short to ever get complimented.

I do like Lucy in general. I have a couple of shorts and some tops from there that I wear a lot, and I always see stuff that I swear I'll come back for later, but somehow never get around to. They have their own brand and they carry some other brands as well, and the sales staff seems to be fairly knowledgable.

ETA: My current favorite item of athletic wear is this pant by Prana. I think I got mine at either REI or Whole Earth Provision (does that exist outside of Texas?), but I'm pretty sure that Lucy carries Prana. It comes in a longer version too.

Come on, I think Fekkai for the level of salon it is is fairly reasonable.

in your neighborhood you might be better off going with a longish blond wig when fishing for compliments.

I have been complimented on my hair. but it may be like that "you have such a pretty face" thing that fat chicks get, but they can't go with that one because butterface, so they are stuck with hair. Or shoes.

For the record, I hate underwires, I have boney ribs, and a boney spine that makes the hook-in-the-back style unbearable.

In the who-looks-better-in-this game, Jessica Alba wins over Tori, who looks deformed.
