My local public radio station has been playing the hell out of Hail to the Thief. It has some terrific songs, and it's made it on my list of albums to buy the next time I hit the record store.

"Creep" only made it to #34 on The Billboard Hot 100.
"High And Dry" made it to #78 on The Billboard Hot 100.
I don't think either of them reaches the platonic ideal of a "hit," but if "Creep" is a hit, then "High And Dry" is too.

If you want to expand your scope to include the Modern Rock Charts, then "Creep," "Stop Whispering," "Fake Plastic Trees," "Just," "High And Dry," "Let Down," "Karma Police," "Optimistic, "I Might Be Wrong," and "There There" are hits, and you're still wrong.

I never said I thought "Creep" was their best song. No Radiohead fan thinks that. I did say that I bought a 15 track CD by Christopher O'Riley with piano transcriptions of Radiohead songs.... Maybe I couldn't have named 13 better songs last month, but my short term memory hasn't been ravaged by as many toxins as yours.

Alicia is too busy now with her sitcom on NBC. I wouldn't know this if it weren't for For Love or Money because they plug the hell out of it during the commercial breaks for that show. I'm not sure it is on yet, but she will be a matchmaker.

I also prefer Alicia to Reese (tho she was great in Election).

Speaking of funny comedians, has anyone watched the Comedy Central standup special of Jim David? He is a gay southern guy and the best line in the show is:

"I can't be a Democrat because I like to spend the money I earn and I can't be a Republican because I like to spend the money I earn on drugs and whores."

He's very funny if your ever are flipping past...

Do you all know of anywhere (other than Victoria's Secret) that sells bathing suit separates with the tops based on bra sizes? All I am really looking for is a top with an underwire and a string bottom, which is proving difficult to find.

I haven't been really excited with the selections in the local stores, which are all the same 6-8 designers.

Thanks for the suggestion, eo. Their offerings seem to be made for a whispy thin flat-chested, sort and don't seem as if they would offer enought support. There si something about them that makes them look like they smash, not lift and support.

Guess I'll take the luch hour to head over to T-backs & More. Yeeeeeehaaaaa!!!!
