For a moment I thought I knew this guy but then remembered the guy I know is named "Sundance" though he goes by "Sonny."

for love or money

So I hadn't watched the show for a while and they are having the TWO HOUR FINALE tonight. And as I am watching this 21 year old kid, if she is chosen, crying over whether to take the money or to take the unemployed lawyer who got kicked out of the military, I find myself wanting to scream at the tv take the fucking money moron.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS

Edited to add daaamn, they know how to put a twist in. Fox wishes they could do a twist like that. I'm duly impressed.

SO was disappointed that he is roped in for more shows now (can't...turn...away). We both kind of felt for Rob. He actually did the noble thing. And who can blame the winner for the choice she made? Just can't believe that she went for double or nothing...

Any theories of what the producers would have done if the result was different? My bet is Kelly would have been brought back as the babe-prize before they ever put Paige up there.

Finally, a comic book for the FB!

Princess Diana will be reincarnated as a mutant comic book superhero . . . [in a] team of super-powered mutants in a satirical look at fame and pop culture . . . "And, of course, she looks great in Spandex!"

With such potential for everyone to look horrible, Erin and Rob came across surprisingly well. He picked the right woman, she made the right choice.

I wonder if she will buckle under the pressure of making someone fall in love with her enough to walk away from one meeelyun dollars.

“At the time we were sort of like, OK, here’s a new shoe, and it’s a flip-flop and it has a heel and it’s 85 dollars,” she said. “I think that we didn’t think that much of it until this whole popularity boom started happening.”
Who the hell would pay hundreds of dollars for flip flops?
For that matter, has anyone seen these shoes that look like little Converse sneakers in the toe in pastel colors, but are perched on a stiletto heel? Just hideous. WTF?

I speculate that Erin wants to go into acting or modeling or be an E! or ET correspondent or something. That she wants to break into Hollywood is the only reason I can think of that she would want to go double or nothing. The fact that the $1 million is involved means that any attempt to use a search for love as the reason is total BS, so she doesn't even have a "Bachelorette" chance of finding someone. To her credit, I think she really did believe he would pick Paige and wasn't just screwing with her head. Part of me thinks that Paige's removal of the promise ring was shrewd and calculated and that her innocence is all an act. I hope that the shock of getting dumped didn't drive her back to the bottle.

The term Telekom Train is as conspicuously absent on those cards as it has been in the first two sprint finishes. Zabel's been getting no help from the boys in pink.

I was figuring that Spike TV said it wouldn't go after him for its costs if he settled now, before he had to post another $2M as a bond.

One more thing. As for the Bachelor, I am pretty sure that all of their "proposals" are scripted. Rob's dialogue clearly was not. I know they wanted top prolong the suspense, but good lord! Was anyone else screaming " Shut the F up already!" while he was talking?
