Too tired. Everybody knows by now it's just a cute way to find out who everyone really is. NOBODY is going to fall for this again.
I used your real name, just to mix things up.

Poll: Best Casting Ever

Last night I was watching VH-1 Classic again (insert Serenity Prayer here) and saw a clip from an old Doors concert film. I was struck by how absolutely perfect Val Kilmer was playing Jim Morrison. It wasn't just the face --- he was Jim Morrison, all kooky and creepy, a feat completely improbable for a guy named "Val."

I nominate Val Kilmer in "The Doors" for a proposed poll: Best Casting Ever ("Real" Person). Nominees must have inhabited the persona of another known person.

Runner up is Gary Cole playing Robert Reed playing Mike Brady in the otherwise awful Brady Bunch movies --- Shelley Long comported herself well, too. Special award to Jim Carrey playing Dick York playing Darren and Nicole Kidman playing Elizabeth Montgomery playing Samantha in their "Bewitched" project, if it gets made.

Jimmy spends how many years perfecting the "Val" look, and all you can do is praise Val?

(The kooky, creepy look is merely the product of different drug regimens finally achieving complementary stasis. I think Val had a . . . er, . . . "head" start on this role.)

I spend all this time and money to balance my yin and yang to achieve the perfect creepy look, and you're telling me I should have been worried about equipoise on my amp/goofer axis?

Sounds like it's time for another come-to-Jesus with my dealer/acupuncturist.

Yes! Ha ha! That's exactly what I'm doing. I'm running a website out of the UK, just to find out your real name, Notorious F.A.G.

And I find it odd that my porn name is Ann Flanders.

"Best" in the classic sense? Or "Best" in the "I can't help watching this no matter how many times it's on TV" sense? Because in the latter case, it's hands-down, and forever, Faye Dunaway in "Mommie Dearest."

I *still* use plastic hangers as a result of that movie.

Agree on Gary Busey. Got an Oscar nomination for that.

Hard to believe that's the same drug-addled, brain damaged (or both) guy on "I'm With Busey" on Comedy Central nowadays...

I thought that Lou Diamond Phillips was good as Richie Valens in La Bamba.

Busey is the poster child for the importance of wearing helmets when you ride motorcycles.
