[Confidential to Paigow: This movie was declared unreleasable six months ago. Reshoots, shifted story line (after EW, among others, called it the worst "Ben Affleck seduces a lesbian" movie), and unbelievably bad audience numbers have given the marketers nothing to work with other than the "star power" of people who make me change the channel when I see their dull mugs.]
I think US (People Lite!) magazine declared this movie a flop before Paigow...or is this some sort of retro slamming of a movie that's already been slammed?

I pick the Angels to win last year's World Series.

That's when I realized who the guy was, but I was kind of embarrased at my cheesy friend - ai yi yi..

Do bookmakers take bets on a movie being an absolute, Heavens Gate, style disaster? Bc I would like to bet the farm on Gigli. I know nothing about this movie except that JHo and Ben assfleck are in it, and that Ben appears to play an Italian gangster in the movie(!) from a commercial I saw.
. . .

This movie should sink like a stone. And I bet that does wonders for the relationship.
The Kevin Smith factor may be an influence on attendance. He has some pretty cult like fans who will stand in line for hours to see one of his flicks. I got caught in their path when Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back came out. They were rabid.

I imagine the View Askew boards are packed this week.

Edited because I confused movies. I was under the happy delusion that there was only one J.Lo / Affleck movie coming out, but, sadly, it turns out that there are two. Gigli is apparently not the Kevin Smith one.

Gigli is the suckier of the two.

So what are you saying? That a bookie wouldnt take my bet? Can we bet on what happens to this engagement then? Ben is gonna have to weigh whether Jen's ego is mitigated by her snapping pussy. Bc surely SHE won't accept the blame for the abysmal failure of the film.

I'm actually somewhat relieved. I'm not necessarily a rabid fan, but i do like (most of) Kevin Smith's work, and the previews for this upcoming film look terrible. And I was wondering why he was making a gangster version of Chasing Amy.

No, it was sarcasm. THere is a big difference.

Since they have two movies coming out, I would take that bet.

It's at least uh even odds that they will marry before the press tour for Jersey Girl.

If JHo hadnt already had two embarrassing divorces under her belt, I wouldnt take the bet bc I would think they would wed to prove to the saturated public that their love can withstand the typical hollywood bullshit. but Jlo cant afford another divorce, at least not so soon. She should wait til her forties. So I will take the bet that they do not web by the press junket for Jersey Girl. What is the wager?
