There was a guy on public access who had a show he called the "Mike Hunt show." He was removed on the grounds that he was showing porno on public access. He sued on 1st Amendment. He settled.

But, on his show he would critique various porn movies. My favorite critique was about "Catch Her in the Eye" in which the money shots never catch anyone in the eye. However, if he is still running his website, he's the expert - he's seen them all.

Agree with E/O re: Vivid. Try shophustler.com as well (perhaps not at work). Avoid Armegeddon and a lot of the other, smaller outfits - low production values and skanks. Unless you're into that. Ant twat.

Ron Jeremy (aka "The Hedgehog") is one of the hairiest men alive, and he is one of the last of a dying breed to still cultivate the 70's era porn-star perm and "pornstache"... Still, he must be good at what he does since he has had a long career.

As for porn recommendations, check out Adult DVD Empire (all one word, no caps with a .com at the end, obviously not at work). Probably the best site out there, and where I get my DVDs from (I don't own a lot). Generally, I prefer the compilation DVD's, especially those by Vivid, which generally have 12-15 scenes with a particular star (yes, they have one for Jenna) with some special features.

As for more cinematic movies, they carry those too, including a currently popular one called "The Fashionistas"... The site is very searchable by genre and has detailed reviews. It also, IIRC, has a list of what their reviewers consider the "Top 100 movies of all time", and indicates those which won AVN (Adult Video News) awards, the Oscars of porn. Once you set up an over 21 login, you can even view screenshots of most movies they sell. They ship overnight for most items.

If someone tells you there is, don't buy it. It'd probably something dated like 'Debbie Does Dallas', from the dark ages of porn. You might check the AVN website for reviews and awards of recent flicks.
