Okay, so I just finished watching The League of Fabulous Gentlemen, a.k.a. Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

I've gotta say Carson ain't all that. He's funny as shit in a snarky stereotypic way, but his fashion sense could be met or exceeded by any of the others. In other words, if all five of them show up at my door, he's the one I want to dish with most but want to dress like least. And Carson's in need of the grooming makeover --- he looks like the love child of Rod Stewart and Dudley Moore.

BC em's moniker reminded me that the name of the band that I was so into in the early nineties that I could not remember is CHucklehead. Thanks.

And speaking of things that I couldnt remember, the word that I love that was used by David Brent in Office Space is "gutting". It has to be said with his accent.

He has Slave's need to be loved by the masses and tendencey to feel redeemed by his self perception of being of the right people (ie that whole clique thing). I found this book at the gym on Friday and read it over the weekend. I now realize that one of my friends was "dating me" last summer. I was the obvious femme to her butch. From her perspective, I am also TMO, I would imagine. Now I feel bad.

oh good, i think now is a good time to start talking about urban planning and mass transit. since you are going to start putting people on the ignore list, then people like me who are interested in this subject can finally talk about it without you complaining about how it is boring because it doesn't involve "reality" tv, burritos, or you.

If you had to read a book to determine that your friend was dating you, the problem is with her lack of a clearly understandable signal, not you. So try not to feel bad as it's not your fault.

Oh, and I assume I too am on Paig's "ignore" list when she's not making exceptions to pointlessly insult me. But I'm quite pleased about that.
