I will miss her wit, wisdom, and constant bitch slapping. I already look back on her love of tennis (boing.... boing.... boing.... boing....), that thrilling game, so full of surpises (boing.... ), so difficult to anticipate (boing....), so unpredictable (boing.... ), and think, how will it ever be replaced (golf?).

I can appreciate that many other folks like the TdF, but biking is not a sport worth watching. I'd rather watch flies fuck.

I feel the same way about running - its a hell of a physical effort, but not s sport worth viewing.

The worst of all things to watch is America's Cup. I might watch golf before America's Cup.

For your amusement, I'll share my Friday night. Having worked late (technically, it was Saturday morning) I was forced to ride the train with the Friday night crowd (aka heinous drunks). I was forced to listen to a little game called "That's when I knew you were drunk." Goes like this, "dude when you were hitting on that girl at the bar and you were all like rubbing her and shit - that's when I knew you were drunk."

"No way man" I wasn't even drunk then.

"No dude, it was when you got up on stage, that's when I knew you were drunk."

"No way man. I was hella drunk way after that."

And on and on and on.

Then came the shining moment when Fa Shizzle became a tired tired term that drunk white guys use now. (But it was Fer Shizzle).

"Dude, if I'd know you were wanting some action, I'd have let you talk to that chick at the bar. I totally wasn't feeling it. You're my holmes, man. I'd have totally turned her over to you man. Fer Shizzle man, fer shizzle.
