by the way, you have been funny lately. within the last 2 weeks on about 3 occasions I was ready to post sometihng hilarious. luckily I STP'd and saw you had beaten me to the punch. Kudos to you, and welcome to my board.

Where you grew up, if someone spit at your feet, would there be a fight? I mean a hypothetical you, who is more manly.

Where I grew up, everyone dipped, so everyone spat at everyone's feet. It was no big deal.

Funny.

Good news. Our biggest enemies in Iraq may be dead soon:

  • New York Times Reports 4Q Loss of $648M

NEW YORK (AP) -- The New York Times Co. posted a $648 million loss for the fourth quarter on Wednesday as it absorbed an $814.4 million charge to write down the value of its struggling New England properties, The Boston Globe and the Worcester Telegram & Gazette.
The company said the non-cash charge reflected declines in current and projected results at the newspapers, which have been hit hard by the consolidations of key advertisers in the New England area as well as greater competition from online media.

Um, Hank, I live around the corner from the NYT and, though my neighborhood can resemble a war zone, it is most definitely not in Iraq. Do me a favor, though, and give me some advance notice if the Administration decides that it is in Iraq and give me a chance to find a new apartment?
