My brother gave me Quicksilver, but I've been waiting to hear if they're any good before I read it or buy Book II. Do you recommend? Cryptonomicon was fun.
I've read Persepolis now, and totally recommend it. It doesn't even take two hours to get through, and it's totally worth it.
