Quick Giro Update
For those who care and are not taping at home:
Today's stage has just ended.
Cipo broke the record with his 42nd Giro stage win. He's had two amazing back-to-back wins, where it appears he defeated the stress and anxiety of the record.
Also, there were punches thrown by the Polsat sprinter and Petacchi in the final kilometer. I will never understand how they can ride at 30-40 kph and have the balance to punch the guy next to them without crashing.
Overall, another excellent sprint finish . . . and Garzelli stays in the maglia rosa.
