You're partially right and partially wrong.
I'm not playing the same game you are, Hank. I tried the "let me see if I can post some witty 'prose' and make some fans on this internet forum" thing and it didn't really work for me (though I have made a number of good IRL friends from this place). Now I'm onto the "grouchy poster who's only hanging around here because he has to and who doesn't give a shit what people think and only pokes fun at the status-seeking, approval-wanting idiots like Hank Chinaski" thing.
This schtick was started by slavenomore and refined to fit my own particular brand of grouchiness, which removed a lot of the witty barbs that slave likes to inject and got right down to bare-bones hate-mongering.
