Is there anyone in the country who does not think that there is a constant risk of terrorist attack? I think that to avoid panic (and irritation) they should request that the media summarize all outstanding known threats whenever they come out and say "OMG!!!!! There's a new threat!!!!!!" It would make it maybe a little clearer that the new threat isn't really any worse than the already existing threats, it's just from newer info.

I watched the damn thing and they made it pretty clear to me that:
1) the "chatter" they are hearing is focusing on attack plots surrounding the upcoming Donkey and Elephant shows
2) Since this only affects 2 US cities (TCOTU and TAOTN*), there is no need to ratchet up the National Warning Level, as this kicks in enhanced security measures nationwide - at an enormous financial cost to the taxpayers.
If anything, this government is finally showing some financial restraint by limiting its focus this time around. So why the fuck are ya'll complaining?
