ETA: Unfortunately I didn't have Hank to tell him that I was on the hoops fashion cutting edge at the time. If only I'd hung my shorts down on my ass a bit more it would have been obvious.

The number 1 thing to avoid on this front is shorts that have netting, rather than fabric, as underwear. Netting can really chafe your pecker.
