I'm not talking about his ability to draw away some voters. In an election with only about 25 undecideds, even one is too many.
The ineptitude I'm talking about is the organizational capabilities of getting on the ballot in the first place. See, e.g.,
Anthony Williams' incompetence in getting onto the DC Mayoral ballot (as an incumbent, no less). If they lack the skills to get on the ballot in the first place, it does not speak well for their ability to govern at all.
Professional politicians, whatever their policy views, should at a minimum be able to do
that.
