I admit to shopping at Target, because they are an excellent source of disposable children's clothes, like Old Navy without the pretension. I have no idea of their union status, but they have a higher profile in this region and are not infamous around here for being poor employers.
When I lived in a part of the country with more Wal-Marts, I occasionally shopped there out of necessity. Wal-Mart's store designs suck, and their aisles were not well-kept. Boxes of merchandise were opened and re-taped, etc. I avoided going there for that reason, not for political ones.
