Is $300 how much you pay a month for your plan or is that the total cost? Is it an HMO or a PPO? If it isn't outable, what company is it through?
I have a very nice self-funded policy through large employer (I'm estimating about 50,000 people are covered through the plan), and I don't pay a cent for it. $287.78 is the total cost per month paid by my employer for my health insurance according to my pay stub. My benefits providedb by my employer include the drug benefits and mental health coverage. I just ran the "find a quote" tool through the insurance company that administers the plan and the plan came to $555 as my standard monthly premium with similar benefits. Of course, if I wanted to skip the drug benefits, I could pay $419 a month.
