I know we tangled about this on the old board, but as I recall, all they said was that the didn't want the brick
painted. Doug was correct in saying that faux weathered brick wouldn't work with the room, so he complied with the literal instructions and didn't permanently affect the brick. Of course, it bore no relationship to the homeowners' tastes, but those people needed help in the taste department, as I recall.
Wanted Frank; got Doug. Tough titties. I'd gladly take that room as done by Doug.
