Centrally? No. Rhetorically, the fact that it was Christmas gave it added punch, but that's all. It was a story about the irony of fighting in Cambodia when the official position of our government was that we weren't there, not a story about the irony of fighting in Cambodia on the anniversary of the day that the son of God was born in a manger.
