Jon Fucking Stewart nailed the whole swift boat thing last night when he tied the chief architects of the ads to Bush and Rove. He didn't need to do that because, unless you've shit for brains and been in a fucking cave on Mars for the past four years, Karl Rove's fingerprints were all over the goddamned ads. Whatever. Swift Boaters is the right's Farenheit 9/11. Its just not credible on any of its biggest points. Is kerry fluffing his war record? Absolutely. He's fucking politician. What do you expect? Drop the goddamned stupid issue and lets move along to something that might actually affect our lives.
If you vote based on what happened 35 years ago, you're a fucking idiot. I'll vote based on which economic policy I think will work best for me, not some goddamned nonsense about which politician lies more or which has better "values."
"Values" - what an utter pile of shit to be discussing in regard to politics. Its the parties' way of saying "we'd rather not discuss our actual policies." I see a lot of "values' talk from W and JFK, but I don't see much in the way policies or real numbers. That's a bad sign from the get go...
