The poor quality of that post is excusable, given your admission that you drank heavily first.
So go ahead, drink some more and snipe about whether a guy who was voluntarily in the military, in combat, in the service of his country, in a war that was really and truly (in part) a battle against the International Communist Conspiracy, deserves a particular medal.

P.S. Newest WSJ poll -- IIRC 52% disapprove of Bush's handling of the economy and about the same disapprove of his handling of Iraq. The RNC next week won't change that.
P.P.S. Poll reported in WSJ -- "major Democratic figures most hated by Republicans" -- (1) Hillary (24%) (2) (Tie) Bill Clinton and Teddy Kennedy (17%); (4) "All" (12%); (5) Jesse Jackson (11%). I really should read the WSJ more often.
