Urgent - Dollars are needed today to keep Ralph and Peter on the ballot!
The Democrats have spent untold megabucks on propaganda and legal bullying of the Nader/Camejo campaign. When they're not out pushing the big lies, they're sending in high paid lawyers to challenge our ballot access. Yesterday, in a court in Maine, the challenger to our petitions admitted that the Democratic National Committee was paying two large firms to get us thrown off the ballot. In West Virginia yesterday, people from the Attorney General's office admitted that they were recruited by a democratic legislator to file complaints against our petitions. On Monday we had to defend in five different proceedings, but we are fighting back. Last week we won a unanimous decision in Iowa, and we plan to win many more with your help.
Up against George W., the Democrats are fiddling around with side issues of war records rather than talk about things like health care for all, a living wage, and waging peace. Against Nader/Camejo, they're mud-slinging, as reported in the New York Times and Washington Post, with the expressed intent to deplete our campaign of money and resources and to remove us from the ballot. What are they so afraid of? Competition? That we might raise the issues they won't discuss?
Shouldn't they be focused on the Republican Convention like we are with our 20-foot long "Impeach Bush/Cheney" banner and holding counter convention events?
