The "bounce" usually begins, if at all, within 24-48 hours after the candidate's speech, once the main media has had a chance to line up its stories and tell the uninformed what to think.
I predict Miller gives a five-point bounce all on his own. All of the focus-group reaction to him last night seems to have been very positive, especially among those who are labeled "swing voters".
