2. Not a question of morality. Intelligence. (Catch the comment in his letter about how Reagan was wasting all of this money fighting the USSR and that Reagan's claim to a "window of opprtunity" to fight the evil Soviets was, "as we have now proven", false? What's the opposite of prescience? )
Next - If his votes were representative of his constituency, then he should simply say so now - that's his defense. I bet he doesn't do that, though. I bet he simply says something like "Bush is once again distorting my record."
IV.) I'm guessing that we now hear that attacking Kerry's voting record cheapens all past political votes and voters, and that we have no moral sanction to do so.
