Not Bob confession moment. I just don't like watching football live. You can see the game better on TV. College doesn't count -- I went to one of those square state, land grant football factory schools for undergrad, but for me football games there were more about school spirit. Oh, and passing co-eds to the upper level, and getting drunk on kamikazes at Ugly John's Saloon across the street from the stadium during halftime.
Baseball live is great. A seat along first or third, close enough to hear the cracks, a beer, peanuts ... good. Hockey live is even better. I like behind the goalie, close enough to flinch as the pucks smack into the glass during warm-ups. I enjoy watching the goalie -- and there is nothing like the excitement of a breakaway or a penalty shot coming at you.
