Obviously, my repeating Hank's characterization of hating "Islamic peoples" as racist (and given the way he wrote this, I think it's open to debate whether or not that is religious or racial bigotry, as he seems to be open to the possibility of hating someone who is of the same ethnicity as a "people" normally considered Islamic, but who is not - for example, a Christian Arab) was technically incorrect.* It is not racist, it is merely bigoted. I, and the board, stand corrected and shall be sure to use the correct term from now on.


*Unless you are suggesting that one of the other groups might be considered a race: Rapists. Baby Killers. Hostage Takers. Don't remember any of those groups from Intro to Geography.
