Sorry, I misinterpreted what you were speaking of - I thought we were still on forgeries. I've read the CSIS report, as well as a number of their earlier ones on post-conflict transformations. There's a lot of "I told you so" in their current report, but, on the whole, I think they're accurate. No argument there.
(ETA) To clarify - no argument that things are currently a mess, but I will argue the "heading the wrong way" idea.
