Well, sometimes it isn't a matter of them going out and buying it but choosing between various family heirlooms and deciding which one the wearer will be happiest with in the long run wearing on her finger everyday. He already knows that if he's dropping money for me on anything increbily expensive it ought to have hooves or wheels, not rocks. I think I'd like to use my grandmother's ring (which she gave to me for this purpose), but he has a stone that his father gave him that's been in the family and was intended for this use. I'm not a precious stone person so the "loser" in this would not get made into some other piece of jewelry for me. I think Mr. Bunny doesn't really care which one is used and will go with whatever I prefer.
