I don't see how your plan will make one bit of difference. If you post posts that aren't meant to be funny or posts that you think are funny, the outcome is pretty much always the same.
But don't change your posting style on account of me. In fact, I think you should increase the number of nonsensical/drunken posts. At least you have an excuse for being unfunny then.
