So, if you're in a long term relationship with someone, he has no general idea how many people you've slept with, and you have no general idea how many people he's slept with? Couldn't even put it into one of 0-15, 15-40, 40-100, 100+?

Recently, I've heard women say that higher total numbers concern them more when they're considering whether to have unprotected sex with a guy they're in a committed relationship with, because of HPV. This, to me, is a little silly, given the current stats about infection rates and detectability of HPV, but that's what I hear.
