MSNBC's device just told me Edwards won, 70-30. Both are equally meaningless. There were a few moments to warm the hearts of partisans on either side, but nothing happened that changed anything. Edwards' most important task was to come out swinging hard enough to ensure his political future should Kerry lose this election, and he did that. In other words, he didn't pull a Lieberman.
