Who the hell talks to people on public transportation, especially on a bus? I rode public transit every day for five years and can count on one hand the number of conversations I've had on public transit (excluding "excuse me," "pardon me", "get the fuck out of the way jackass" coming from me and "do you know which stop we should get off at for _____" from the tourists). Once a woman asked me about a book I was reading, because it had an interesting psychedelic cover, which I remember because she was hot. I can't remember the substance of a single other conversation.
