Nope. First of all, I don't think there is are any secrets about this. It has been all over the place. Second, Kerry's Vietnam experience typifies America's Vietnam experience. He went. He fought. He came back. And he had second thoughts. This will shock no one.
Have you seen the film? 'Cause I really doubt it. In fact, I would suggest that this quote from your article is highly suggestive that this is not true,

Kerry doesn't excite many democrats, but I have only heard a handful say they dislike the guy. And none of them have said this based on his peace activism.
