I do feel that if you have not read Down and Out in Paris and London; Keep the Aspidistra Flying and Coming Up for Air, then perhaps you should try not to characterize his style.

I have read Down and Out, and his essay on language, as well as 1984 and Animal Farm. And I'll submit to a quiz when you can prove to me that you are not the unfortunate product of cousins marrying.
