I have to admit, I went to bed before this happened because as exciting as this series is, baseball is not my bag, baby, but it seems to me that he just admitted trying to knock the ball out of the pitcher's hand. So why was he arguing the call? Or did he just later give up the argument?

Does anybody else feel oogy at the thought of sutures holding Schilling's ankle tendon in place?
Suffice it to say I don't have "bravado etched on my face" right now, although I did manage to "play throught the pain" the other day when a shaving nick caused a drop of blood to seep through my hose.
