It was actually more than just an intentional-hand-ball comparison. The ref claimed it was a hand ball and the player claimed that the ball just hit his head. The other ref, however, argued that there was not, in fact, a hand ball. I think the first ref just got confused because the player was wearing a wool hat (because it was 35 fucking degrees out) and thought he saw the player's hand.
Anyway, I'm not sure what happened to the player. All I know is that he supposedly cannot make the game this weekend because he is in Cuba.
