Take your choice: 1. Because if you keep real busy pointing out other people's sin you can simultaneously (a) ignore your own sins and (b) feel real self-righteous. 2. They are homophobic. 3. They haven't a clue WWJD.
Just remember that not all Christians, and not even all evangelicals, are part of the religious right.
