We just bought a new weekend house, and it's "historical"; it was the general store of the village back in the day (it's about 160 years old). Well, one of the artifacts (that's a little grandiose, but you get my drift) of the house is that it has a stone hitching post out front. Cute.
So, my son's great idea was that we could keep his pony at the house hitched up to the hitching post. It took him a few minutes to figure out why that wouldn't really work.
