And how much of their lack of offensive production is based upon them not showing up versus good pitching from the Sox? Larry (Blame Canada!) Walker hit well. And they -- especially Pujols -- made some plays in the field.

That's such a half-assed response that there's really no need for me to argue with it. Again, I'm not saying Boston didn't play well. They did. But if you think the Cards showed up, you're smoking something. Or maybe it just shows how weak the NL was this year.
