A-Rod had some fight in the beginning of the Series, but whenever the chips are down, he folds. Jeter has been so clutch so often that he gets a pass for this year's pathetic ALCS performance.

Yeah. Toughest easy job in sports.
But, he's no longer a good fit for our team. He was perfect for the '96 - '00 teams. But apparently our approach is to now be a team of run producers only. Torre makes the right moves when you have a team of role players - guys who get on base, guys who move them over, guys who get the runner in from third, guys who manufacture runs. A team of pure sluggers is (i) not much fun to watch and (ii) not really his style. If we're going to continue like this, we need Pinella.
