Is it so hard for you to admit that your side didn't win because a majority of the population believes in its economic message (I barely remember hearing an economic message over the last several months, the focus was on everything else)?
I'd like to see the middle of the country come together and do some serious bipartisan work to come up with the optimal (balancing cost and effectiveness) way to run the country's infrastructure, manage natural resources, educate kids, take care of the needy and defend the country. But there is so much polarization I don't have a lot of hope for that.
