Fringey, I have a friend who did her kitchen in terra cotta. She had a black fridge and I can't remember what color her cabinets are. Her counter was white tile. Maybe her cabinets were cherry. Anyway, terra cotta is too dark for a small kitchen with black and white stuff. She also had terra cotta tile floors. I hate them. My kitchen is painted in a color called Navajo white, but it's actually more of a warm pale yellow. I have stainless steel appliances. Maybe a light yellow would warm the place up.
