(a) I thought the whole pot argument was that it isn't even as addictive as cigarettes, and (ii) if they see that mom and dad smoke pot, but don't do other harder drugs, they are more likely to see a line between pot and the more damaging, addictive drugs than than if pot were lumped in with cocaine and meth as "bad illegal horrible" things.

Sidd's sounding a lot like that guy who wrote the sins book.*

I have not once said that pot "leads to addiction." Excessive drug use -- any sort of drug -- is risky. Young kids are susceptible to losing control.

You asked why parents would be more concerned using drugs around their kids than drinking. I answered. I didn't suggest that we debate the issue. Your insistence on debating something with which you have no experience whatsoever, and no direct knowledge, is asinine.

Do you realize that using drugs around your kids can lead to LOSING your kids? Simple casual use. Do you understand that this is not an issue with alcohol? Or by recognizing this potential danger am I being Bill Bennett?

Feel free to raise your kids however you want, you stupid twat. And, while you're at it, next time you are at a party where there are kids present, turn down a beer and light up a joint and see how that works for you.
